Giving directions in a ESP unit

Hi everyone! I have to prepare a unit of work basing myself on TBL. The student ( he is a taxi driver) needs to know how to guide tourists when they ask him for instructions to go to the touristic places in our city. The thing is that he only needs to understand English (when it s spoken) and to be able of using it at least with simple utterances. So I thought of including:
*a few vocabulary related to  palces in town (police station, bank...) and the touristic attractions of our city.
*prepositions (go straight, turn right/left..)
*polite requests (can you tell me where...) Though, I m not sure about this topic.
If you have ideas, PLEASE tell me... I m a bit lost.
Thanks in advance!
