One more question...
If I write FIND IN THE TEXT TWO FACTORS THAT ARE NOT BENEFICIAL AND CAN BE HARMFUL TO LIVING LONGER.
Should I accept as an answer Smoke or Smoking? or both are correct?
Thanks for your help...

as i know smoking is the activity  you do with a cigarette and smoke is what you produce when smoking

I think both are correct as we consider smoke a means, and smoking is an action. Both are factors leading to the same thing at the end.
Best regards

I would choose "smoking" because "smoke" can be produced also by burning wood in a fireplace etc.

I agree with Malvine, but i m afraid that both of them are not beneficial and can be harmful to live longer if when you refer to "smoke" are talking about the fumes that pollute the environment.

Smoking is a noun! We call it the gerund.
With a form of to be, it becomes present continuous.

Walking, skating, singing are all nouns (derived from verbs obviously)

Smoke is the noun for the stuff, not for the action unless it is an imperative:

If someone is ordered to smoke.........

Conclusion, smoking is correct.
