PUNCTUATION PROBLEM

Is the following correct?

Tuesday, November 24th or I should write Tuesday November 24th. I was told not to write a coma between the day and the month because of the "th" next to the number....
I have never heard this... Could you give me a hand?

Hi broncesamber

There are many acceptable ways of writing dates in both American and British English. Simply google write dates and you will see lots of links and you can then find one that suits the style of English taught in your country.

The Style Manual for Australian authors, editors and printers recommends your example be written as Tuesday 24 November (no commas or th). It seems that standards are always changing and that there are differences between countries.

Cheers
