Phrasal verbs in questions

Can anyone please help me ?
Would you say :

What occassions do you dress up for ?
On what occassions do you dress up ?

I know the preposition should come at the end but I am not sure in this case...

Thank you.

The first, "What occasions do you dress up for?" is normal colloquial speech.
The second is more formal and is the sort of thing you would find in a text book or exam but never said by a native speaker.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Joy
