Please What do you understand for formal and informal expresions.
because I have to prepare a class with that but I �m not sure what topic.
I was thinking in greetings Do you have another idea?

What about writing letters
1) writing a letter to a friend is informal
2) writing a letter applying for a job is formal

there is something I dont understand here. this is a site for teachers by teachers full of worksheets that people have taken time and spent effort to make. wouldnt it be much better to use the resources available here before linking off to other sites? .. a search here on formal and informal brings up lots of useful material. Ermm
