Capitalization :when ?

Dearest Teachers,

I would like to ask all the teachers herein about the universal grammatical rule in view of CAPITALIZATION of the first letter of every word . When it is appropriate to capitalize the first letter of a word ?
I am looking forward to hearing from you all.
Thank you

Hi,

in titles of books and songs we capitalise every noun, verb, adjective and adverb,
but not articles and prepositions, as far as I know.

Hi, I have to agree with Lana. That was the rule I was taught in school about capitalization.

In Klingon, letters inside words are capitalized ;-)

As for an English universal rule, think bigger. I found 17 of the buggers on this site. My guess is there could be more. Ask Santa for a Swan if you ve been nice.
