Please help me with the following expressions:
APR for purchases and balance transfers
charging rates
What do they mean? I can �t find them in dictionaries. These are in an advertisement that is a task for translation for business assistant Ss. The text is about credit cards.

APR means Annual Percentage Rate.  It is the percent of interest charged on a credit card.  Each month the balance is multiplied by a set percent.  That amount is charged as interest.
