Hi everyone ..

 
Long Time No See !
 
I have a question related to phonics.. i �m confused :S
 
 
do red and ten  have the same phonetic sound?
 
what about his and it ..?
 
because  i have matching activity and I �m confused about thses four words :S
 
 
Help Me Please !
 
and if you have a good phonetic site that can help me in such situations .. plz give it to me   :)

I would say that red and ten have the same sound [e], and so do his and it [I].

I would recomment to install a dictionary on your computer ABBYY Lingvo x3, which has a few languages included, Spanish, Portuguese and English, of course. It gives good pronunciation tips, as well as accurate and rich translation

Or you could try and get Oxford Advanced Learner �s Dictionary with a CD. It always helps :)
