Dear friends,
i �m teaching young learners about numbers now, i would like to ask your opinion,
if i ask the students to mention the even numbers between 2 until 20, will we include 2 as the answer, such as 2, 4, 6 , 8, etc OR we will start it from 4?

Hi, I had to think for a minute lol.
Actually we don �t say between �2 until 20 �. We say between 2 and 20.
Anyway ...
From 2 to 20 includes 2, 20
Between 2 and 20 should include the numbers 2, 20 also. |

I �ll have to disagree, 2 and 20 are not included with between.
Use from to include them.

In "practical usage" when you say "a number between 1 and 10", most people will assume 1 and 10 are included. Technically, they shouldn �t be, but they are.
for example: we always say "pick a number between one and ten" and 1 and 10 can also be chosen.

How if the instruction is write the even number between 2 to 10? will we include 2 and 10 or not?
