Problem with uploading ws made from Microsoft Word template

Dear friends,

I ve just found out about the Microsoft Word templates & tried to make a ws with one of them.

I love the result but it won t upload!

It s light, it s the right version of word, I just can t see what the problem might be!

What do you think please?

Thanks!!!!!!! Hug

Cheers,

Marie.

Dear Monty, you probably don t have acceptable .doc extension or you use Word 2007( all those documents are supposed to be saved as earlier versions ). I haven t tried but I think that could be  the problem Wink. The templates are great, aren t they?

Dear Bare,

Thanks for your kind answer, but that s not the problem here.
I tried again & saved it as word 97-2003 (to make sure) but it did not work once again.

What do you think, please?

Thanks!!

Marrie.

Wow, that s strange Marie - you don t usually have that problem!
Perhaps you should try cutting and pasting the whole thing into
a new Word and see if that helps. Perhaps the first was was corrupted in some way?

Chere Marie, I ve tried to create a template and checked the extension - seems to be unknown. You can try do it yourself - you must enter the document properties

Office button - PREPARE - PROPERTIES - Document properties - Advanced properties - General there you can see MS-DOS name

My other documents have .doc but it s not the case with the template.

Goga

Thanks a lot Goga!!! Hug
Then I ll just stick to my own "creations", which is a pity but no worries!
