Guys,
I �m looking for a pc programme to create attendance database - something simple to use and free,
and it �s a bit urgent.
Any help GREATLY APPRECIATED,

Hi Lana
I suggest you use MS Access. Its purpose is to create databases and it is not difficult to use.

Hi Lana,
The simplest way to do it is using excel or any other spreadsheet software.
If you need to get attendance you just need to write a 1 for present students and a zero for the absent ones. At the end you just add them up and find out how many classes they attended.

Open office have a free excel like program.
http://www.openoffice.org/
I haven �t used the excel one, just their word program.. I think it �s better than Microsoft word but some people say it �s only equally good. ;)
