Hi. Can you help me?

Can you help me?

Wich is correct: I m in the supermarket.
                                    or
                         I m at the supermarket?

With places we use at, right? I can say I m at school, at home,...

Thanks
Have a nice weekend
hugs

As far as I know, this is it...
I m at the supermarket. means you re close to it, perhaps in front, perhaps at the parking lot, it s like saying let s meet at the supermarket - approximate, you don t really define the exact spot.
I m in the supermarket. means you re inside it, probably shopping already.

The explanation above sounds absolutely logical but as a native speaker I would say even if you are "in" the supermarket you can use "at". If someone called me on my cell and asked me where I was, I would say, "I m at the supermarket." I think they are used interchangeably. :)
