Too funny!!

Yeah, I know... we basically use chesterfield for any type of sofa really... It �s basically the same idea though as "swimming costume". LOL

... well Zora, I looked up chesterfield in the trusty freedictionary.com and it says that:

1. it is a man �s overcoat with a velvet collar
2. sofa for Northern Californians and Canadians.
 
 Then a bit further down it says �an overstuffed davenport with upright armrests �.  Now, what is a davenport????  Tuns out that it �s a sofa bed.  gee, English can be strange ...

I have to admit that I �ve never heard of a "Davenport" .. and yes, English is very crazy, indeed! LOL
