Leveling students according to the Common European Framework (CEFR)

Hi, guys!

"With a little help from my friends" I intend to level my students according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

But I m having a little hard time in finding tests and guidelines on the internet.

Does anyone know about a website where I can find more about tests using the CEFR as reference?

Thank you in advance for the attention.

Hugs from Brazil.

Hi Bruna,

I think you won t find special tests for CEFR because it is just a framework / a chart to use for comparing the level of knowledge. But here are two websites where you can find some useful material about CEFR.

Hello ! It has happened to me before and it s not really easy to find such material. Maybe what I do works for you, too.
There s the esol website http://www.cambridgeesol.org where you can download sample exams. For instance, if I want to know whether a student is ready for fce, that is B2 level, I will give him a sample reading paper for B1 to see if at least he covers the syllabi needed for that level and is ready to start with fce. Or you can give them a sample A1 A2 exam and according to the mistakes the student makes you can decide which course to take or whether or not he/she is ready to start preparing e.g. Movers or Flyers.
I hope I made myself clear and that it may help you!
PS  Thank you baiba for your suggestions !!
