What are the names of these?

Hi, today  at my class a student asked me how these are named. I told him that I didn t remember at the time, but I ll tell him tomorrow. Can you help me and tell me how these are named?

thank you

In South Africa we call the first object a "mop" and the second is a "dust pan".

I would love to see what the other members call it.

Hi,

I am just wondering, aren those things supposed to be a kind of set ? Because I first thought that in the first picture is a broom , since we usually use it with a dust pan. . . Confused
