Hi Nikita,

There are many things you can do.

Perhaps you can get a good idea  looking at this pages:  a bit of everything...

somebody posted the same question a few days ago, but I cannot find the link since i dont remember who started it or what the title was.

As I don t feel very comfortable about studying Argentine history in English, I ll be working on the concepts of freedom and independence.
I ll make them reflect on them and provide their own definitions and examples.
We ll read stories or poems related to that and I ll ask them to write their own poems, too.
I ll make an exhibition with the poems, with the conclusions they arrive at and parents we ll be invited to visit. the stds willl explain why it s important to be free & independent at a personal level and as a nation.
Finally, Ill ask sts to bring songs in English that talk about freedom. They ll have to explain why the song is about freedom and what kind of freedom.
Finally, we ll choose some songs (or parts of them) to sing when the parents come to visit us.
I hope this helps.
