How do you...

I am writing a reading comp about the different elements of a house and I would like the students to label the rooms+ furniture mentionned in the house on a " map of the house" How can I draw it? I want to do something like that:

Do you know an easy way to do it?

Thank you in advance for your help!

The first thing that cross my mind is shapes..

01. Use squares and rectangles to draw the basic divissions.

02. To make the white spaces that represents the doors, draw small rectangles or squares and give them (white lines).

03. For the curved lines, use the different lines available.

Well I know talking might be easier than talking,, so if you find it difficult, you can send me a bigger picture of the map you want to copy and I will draw you one and send it back. Just PM me. (I will be quick!)

Another way, is to ...

01. Draw the basic big rectangle.

02. Use straight lines to draw the room divisions. Curved lines to draw the doors symbols.

As moravc always advises [ Draw inside the drawing canvas for easier grouping ]

(I m not sure if this would be harder and requires more work of you).
