Walkman is Sony �s brand name for a portable player. The plural is "Walkmans". Many people make a joke of it, though, and say "walkmen".

But "mouses" is not wrong if you talk about the plastic thing that you use with your computer. Trust me.

Mice for rodents. Mouses for computer peripherals.
Other words behave like this, e.g. leaf and life. Leaves for stuff from trees. The Maple Leafs for the hockey team.
