DOUBT ABOUT CLIPARTS BLOG

HI!  I need a piece of advice!

Along the years I`ve saved in my computer a big collection of cliparts which I found  in different sites or in google. I`ve classified them into categories ( animals, food, clothes, princesses, hello kitty, halloween, Garfield etc) and it is important to say they are not watermarked.

Last weekend I created a blog to post the cliparts in order to share them, but now my doubt is whether I can do that or not, because of copyrights.

Of course I dont want to make a profit from the blog.

please tell me if you think I should continue with the site or not...!

since they re not watermarked, they aren t meant to be sold it means you don t have to subscribe to the site to get the unwatermarked pictures... so the ones you have are for public use and you can in turn share them with others

Ummm .... What??????????

Are you sure sa3ida????????????

You think just because there is no watermark you can DISTRIBUTE (share) it?Shocked Noooooooooo. No way. Uh-uh. fraid not.

You should adhere to EACH policY of EACH site you got the clip art from.

For example, in many cases ... you can use free clip art where the owner asks for a link back. Can you be sure this is not warranted???

I would suggest that ... if dan1238 can remember where ALL the clip art pics came from and adheres to EVERY website preference. Then she would post.

So ...

perhaps you might consider sharing the link where you got the clip art. Much safer.

Darryl is correct.  You need to get permission from the owner of each clipart.

Sharing the link is a far safer way of sharing the collection.
