Looking for a word!
 

Asking for a proper translation of a word!

I am looking for a word describing a situation at office when the employees
have too much work to do and there is no end for this work. 
I used to know the word, but my mind has lost it. Many years ago our 
British boss shouted "You all must work hard! We have something ----lock!"
unfortunately these days I have even bigger this bla-bla-lock! 
If I find a word, will it help me to have less classes and students? Ha-ha!
To be serious, I �m creating a ws and need this word.
