It s tricky as its not really the way you would ask - maybe....

What way do you prefer to take your tea - loose leaf or tea bags?

What do you use to make tea - loose leaf or tea bags?

or "Do you use loose leaves or bags to make tea" - seems more correct to me

hope this helps

how do you take your tea? Loose or bagged?

The question how do you take your tea?  would get the reply with milk or black with two sugars etc.
If you want the reply tea bags or loose leaf the question would have to be What type of tea do you use, tea bags or leaf?
What kind of tea do you like? could also get the reply green or black
