(I have used past tense �cost� because the jacket has already been purchased)

Apodo is correct about the jacket. I �ve noticed in US advertising that "three times cheaper" and "three times less" are becoming popular, but mathematically that doesn �t work at all. Three times cheaper would be a price that is 300% less than the other. Well, 100% less would be free, so if it is 300% less, the store would be paying you to take it.
