Hi everyone!
I m going to give private lessons to a student who s in upper-intermediate level though his mother told me that he doesn t have a good basics in english. Do you know any worksheet or website that I can use to see his real level to use in the first lesson?

thanks in advance!

Hi, I usully chat with my new students if they know something. I ask them about their school/work, about their likes and dislikes and so on. In a few minutes I can see their level. Sometimes, students are quite good doing worksheets, but not so good speeking. That s why I test it. You can also use a speaking game . There are plenty on this site.
