Dear friends,
I read yesterday �s thread with so many kind notes. I could not reply right away because soon I lost my internet connection.
Thanks so much for your solidarity. It is still raining here in Rio. It is also windy. Rio is squeezed betweens mountains and the ocean and this topography, although very beautiful, leaves us vulnerable to these end of the summer rains. I �m writing in a hurry because I hear thunder and must turn off the computer. The last thing I want is to lose all my printables. Well, many people are losing all their possessions, even their lives. A security guard who works at my grandaughter �s school lost his 10 year old son. I cannot even imagine his pain.
