Here �s  an extract from an interview with a famous judge:
Interviewer: Your honor, what is important for a judge, at the moment he must make the final decision on a case?
The judge: "In order to come to a final decision, I must get things straight.
 
- What does this judge consider important to be ready to decide on a case?
a) To decide straight, severely.
b) To get in order and decide.
c) To know the situation well.
d) To put things straight, in order.
 
What option is the correct? What do you think about?

Because �to get something straight � means to understand something well.
