Teacher īs voice

What about the obvious solution: try to reduce your TTT (teacher talk time)?

In effective language lessons, the teacher should speak as little as possible. Students should do most of the talking and the teacher can then act as a facilitator (e.g. help with vocab), observer (e.g. record mistakes for later correction) or even participant (but not the kind that monopolizes conversation).

If students are rowdy and boisterous, lower your voice instead of raising it. Trying to shout harder than the students won īt get your anywhere anyway.
