Foxhunts in Ireland

Foxhunts in Ireland
Dear Irish colleagues!
I need your help. In our English book there is an article about foxhunting in Ireland. Do foxhunts still take place in your country? I think foxhunting was banned in England some years ago. But is foxhunting still a popular sport in Ireland. Does the organizatíon SFN (Stop Foxhunting Now) really exist?
Thanks for your help! Wink
Have a nice Sunday!
Greetings from Austria, lcio

I think that killing the fox inhumanely was banned, that is to say throwing the fox to the dogs.
The sport continues unfortunately.
