have had

when we use have + had in the same sentence

is it correct

example:

talk about an accident that you have had

3 May 2010

GIOVANNI
Canada

Yes, that is correct.  It is the Present Perfect Tense.
In the Present Perfect Tense you always need have or has plus the past participle.
In your sentence  they are asking for an experience the person has had sometime in his or her life, and the time is not important.
