past simple tense

Hi everyone; I need your help again Smile
I m a student teacher and I ll be assessed by my teacher next week so I m a bit anxious. My friends will teach the form and uses of the simple past tense and I will make a revision and need a free activity or sth like game for the last 20min of the lesson.
I m thinking of preparing some flashcards in order to make ss produce the sentences on their own.I wanna do my best and impress my teacher. If you have any ideas, please share them. Have a nice day, hugs!

Hi! What about a board race?

1.       List the verbs you want to revise on the board/s

2.       Make columns for regular  and irregular verbs

3.       Break students into teams

4.       Students write each past form under the correct column use first verb as an example

5.       Correct answers when the game is finished and ask for examples to check understanding

I got the idea from TEFL ESL - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wam5PscoSjU&feature=related

I used it to revise different forms of comparative adjectives and it worked well.

Good luck!!!!

You could give them a bingo game.

Serene, Lorena: thanks a lot, they are really interesting.
