Hi,

In the sentence you provided, write "for a week."

Have a nice day,

Carla

I agree with liz.

I ve booked a lovely hotel in Spain in the summer. I m going to stay there for a week.

I m so excited about visiting my friend in Spain. I m going to stay there in a week.

Truthfully the first is more common. The second use would be more common in sentences such as:

In a week, I ll be in Spain.

I m hoping to hear news about the job in a week.
