is this sentence correct especially the article and also the translation � British delegation � ?

"Has the British delegation already arrived?"

The article is correct and the British delegation would also be correct if
you are referring to a group of representatives. 
I would change it to read
"Has the British delegation arrived yet?"  I would use
already only in questions to show surprise.

Yet is commonly used for questions, but the meaning is more or less the same as already, in this case .
