All or Nothing

Hi everyone

I have to teach the difference between all and nothing to intermediate adults.

Alas, I found nothing (zilch, zero, nil) on the web that compares just these two and only one WS here (this is where duplicity would be most welcome).

Do you have any ideas?  Do you know of any books that specifically teach this?

All suggestions welcome.

Cheers

Just to start the ball rolling, here s my idea:
Make this a class activity. Have each student demonstrate either all or nothing.
All of the desks are brown.
All of the books are in English.
All of the students are over 18 years old.

Nothing is in the trash can.
Nothing is on the desk in the corner.
I have nothing in my mouth.

Call on each student, one at a time, and keep going, which makes the exercise (game) more difficult each time it comes back to the first student. Toward the end, the offerings should become very funny, as they try to find one more use of "all" or "nothing".

You could divide them into two teams, one for "all" and one for "nothing". You could have a prize for the team that wins. If the "all" team wins, they win "all the things in this box" (but the box is empty). If the "nothing" team wins, they win nothing.

You could also start with this song from the musical Oklahoma:

I think you will receive some great ideas on this one.
