I intent to make a small book for my kids bring home, it �s a kind of communication book between parents and teachers, but I don �t know how to use the correct name for that book. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Hi Lan Huong,
At my kids � elementary, it �s called "Communication Book". The classroom teacher(s) use these books to communicate with parents and vice versa.

Dear Ian,
In Portugal there is "Caderneta do Aluno".It �s kind of official booklet in which the teacher sends messages to parents and vice versa.It contains the personal data of the student in the first page(photo, name, address, name of parents, contact, health problems(if they exist).
You could personalise the booklets asking the parents to give ideas and or contributions!
