(or maybe any other way....)

Hi Anny, if the situation is informal in terms of register, how about

It �s going to be a great day. / It �ll be a great day.

Try using phrases like

Everyone will be thrilled to bits / or in high spirits.

You can say - It will be a day full of fun.But I think that other words like interesting, excitiing, fun -filled would also be nicer.

The use of �fun � has changed over the years.
 
We used to say � The day will be lots of fun. �  
 
but now you often hear � It will be a fun day. � �We had a fun time. �
