Hello everyone! I need some help related to expressions and punctuation.Which is correct?


1. Revolution �s day or Revolution day?
2. New year �s day or new year day?

and finally...

1. Winter starts on June, 21 th.
2. Winter starts on June 21 th.


I will really appreciate your help! thanks!

Hi Josek
Sorry, I don �t know what we �d say for (1) Revolution Day so maybe someone else can help you with that , but for (2) I would say New Year �s day and as to your third question, I would say "Winter starts on June 21st" (not -th).

1.  Revolution Day if you are referring to a holiday.
2.  New Year �s Day
3.  Winter starts on June 21st and in my country summer starts on June 21st

Hello there,
if �Revolution Day � refers to the French Revolution (1789), British people usually say �Bastille Day �.  Just a thought!
