In my school we use letters from A to F but it is only concerned young learners ( 7-12yrs). Older pupils get numebrs  marks;

Have a nice day!:)

I think most European countries now use numbers - because of the EU.

Here, it changes often thanks to the ministery of Education/new curriculum/schoolboards and schools. In the last 10 years, I ve seen letters, numbers and now we re back to %.  But.... the % is actually a letter that is being tranlated into a %. Next September? I don t know yet. The government wants to modify the report cards but the schoolboards are saying they are not ready to make the change as soon as this coming September.

hi,
in France, we use numbers from 0 to 20. however, we re supposed to grade our pupils on 5 different skills: speech, conversation, listening, reading and writing. (following the CEFRL advice that each skill is independent from each other!)
have a nice day! (evening here...)
