Help with grammar exercise

Hi Dear Friends,

Its great to have eslprintables back!!! :)

Id like to get some help for the following grammar exercise. (multiple choice)

................... much exercise I get, I never put down weight.
whichever, whatever, however.

Is it possible that 2 options are correct?

Thanks a lot! Have a great weekend!

As far as I know, only "however" is correct, since we are talking about "how much" exercise. Also, in the US, we don t say "put down weight", so I don t know if that expression is used in other countries. We say "I never lose weight".

Hi there,
the only  possible correct answer there is the third option.
However much exercise I get, I never lose weight (put down does not sound right here. You can say I never lose weight or I m never able to keep the weight down)

I hope this helpsSmile
