Hi Silvia
Many industries/fields etc have their own jargon that people outside of that industry/field will not understand.
To me it sounds like some sort of help/support person who assists the the HK AG (whoever/whatever they are) when they have technical problems that they cant solve
in-house so they use a consultant on fee-for-service basis.
Just my opinion.
Cheers

Hi Silvia,
This is not right for the word (MUD)
HERE IS TWO OF THAT I KNOW........
(1) Your a stick in the mud....meaning the person doesn t go out or does the same thing every day. (2) Your name is mud around here..........meaning the person is Highly unpopular .
Your sentence doesn t go or makes any sence.

mud man
an employee of the company that supplies drilling mud to a drilling rig; a mud engineer. He runs tests on the mud to ensure that it performs as it should, advises the operator on what types of mud to use, and suggests changes that may be made in the mud system to make the drilling more efficient.
in Spanish you may say "especialista en inyeccin" or something like that :) Hope it helps.
