Searching for ideas for teaching kids (6 & 9 years old) ESL

Hello,
I have some experience with teaching children from the age of 10 and older because that �s normally when kids in Germany seriously start learning the language. But now I have two private pupils and they have different ages. I �m really struggling with giving them both a comparable amount of tasks that are challeging for them both. I �ve played many games and worked with songs but it would really help me if some of you could share their ideas with me especially when it comes to talking. I �m very grateful for anything.

Hello Danutz,

A lot of question and answer sessions.

1-Write down a comprehensive list of questions for each student.

2- You begin by asking the questions in sequence

3- Give each student a number of questions to ask the other student

4- You can also give them a set of questions to ask you.

If you google conversation starters for esl students you will get quite a bit of information about starting conversations with different age groups.
