That would also be OK, but it changes the meaning/mood of the statement.

The other statement is quite OK.

folks, do you really believe a person teaching English or studying English for a teaching career would ask such a primitive question??
This is pretty3 keeping us busy with simple questions - most likely a troll registered under different names ...
