I have a doubt

Lina Ladybird

This may sound funny to most of you, but I ve never had any problems with ss saying "I have a doubt". Not so far anyway! ;))

German ss will always say "I have a question", because that s exactly what they would ask in German, too: "Ich habe (da) eine Frage."

Is it possible that mainly Spanish natives use this sentence frequently?

I have to agree with Lina, I think the use of "I have a doubt" is mainly a problem for Spanish learners, since when we are in doubt we often say "Tengo una duda" (the literal translation is... "I have a doubt"). No doubt about it :D
