I �m preparing a ws on English speaking countries and I �ve got a pb. finding out about the official emblem of Jamaica . Can anybody help me ?
( a crocodile , a lion or anythingelse ? ) Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot for your answers . There seems to be lots of symbols related to jamaica and I can �t make up my mind : should I opt out for the bird , the crocodile or.. See what i mean ? In England they �ve the rose , Scotland the thistle and so on and so forth . What about Jamaica ? What would you say ?

Just so you know - the official language of Jamaica is Jamaican Patois which is
a mixture of African creole and English and not the English we teach in school as ESL.
(but it is charming to listen to)
