Hello

I start lessons next week with the first year of ESO (11-12 years old).

Can you suggest any ideas for the first day? I don �t know how to begin and the first day is important.

try to use games
- "pass the question": student A asks a question to B, B answers and asks a different question to C... = very useful to check they know how to ask questions
- I also have a board game here that you could use.
there are many documents available, just have a look here

I think you should work on "classroom english" the first weeks, to make sure your pupils use english at all times instead of using their mother tongue: here �s my documents on the subject but you �ll find many more here!
