Hello, my dear friends and colleagues?

Could I, please, ask you for little help? What is correct: Invasion to Britain or Invasion of Britain?

Thank you very much,

Have a nice day, Mish

I would say "of"

I would say of because it tells you the place/location that is being invaded.

to would indicate a direction of invasion, which in this case would not be correct usage - mainly because invasion already provides direction as being from outside   to inside the place that is being invaded.
