Who can tell me the meaning of the following words, they are related to tourism vocabulary:

1. runaway
2. spartan:  Backpacking camps are more spartan than ordinary camps.

1. a runaway is someone who ran away from somewhere, possibly their home (e. g. teenagers)
2. spartan - meaning that only the mosu rudimentary, basic equipment is there, like the Spartans had, almost military simplicity, no luxury at all

If the words are to do with tourism, was the word runway ? rather than runaway
a long narrow strip of ground with a hard surface that an aircraft takes off from and lands on
The plane taxied along the runway.
