hobble- to walk "crooked", wobble
 de hoy- from today (Spanish)

hobbledehoy- a term used in the medical field when requesting an update from a collegue when coming on to a new shift or station: "Who s the hobbledehoy?" meaning "Who s the injured person that has the priority or is causing the most problems/concerns today?" it can also be used to refer to the most common innjury of the day: "The hobbledehoy is a sprained ankle, we ve already had five of them today."

What a nice word Lucia!

"Hobble " sounds like the name of that telescope which takes pictures of space but there s a spelling mistake dear Lucia.
And "de" and "hoy" are two spanish words (so you cheated because it is supposed to be only english)
As a conclusion I d say that hobbledehoy is what the Porto Rican technician says when they get  the picture of space of the day "hey, guys, that s the HOBBLEDEHOY!"LOL
