Starting an elementary course

Hi dear colleagues:
I wonder if you can help me. I m about to start a private course for elemntary students. I ve given private classes before but since it s the first time I m going to teach to a group of students (10 year old girls), I d like to be sure about the order I must follow  (which grammar subjects and vocabulary give first)...I ve tried checking the sequence at some books, but maybe I shouldn t do that and try to be more original ...Are there any steps I must consider?
I hope you can help me.
Thanks.
Maria Isabel

Hi Maria!

I always try to start from the greetings and introductions! It s easy and they can have
a lot of fun with that!
After you can start introducing the subject pronouns and occupations! I have some private students and it s been always very nice to start from this topics. You can play a lot of games with the vocabulary about professions!

I hope you and your students have fun!

Have a nice wekend!
