Hi everyone,
I know this has been asked before, I read thru the posts I found on the subject but didn �t find anything suitable.....
I am teaching family members to (just a bit above) beginners. I am looking for a song which is not too difficult wich has at least a few family members....(no �our house � by Madness or �we are family � by sisters sledge)
I am looking for a real song, not an �esl � song.....Maybe someone has an idea?

Hi Marion! Maybe you could use daughters by Jonn Mayer or Ode to my family by The Cramberries. They could be very handy. Just check them and see if they are suitable for your student �s ages and interests right?

I looked at the songs you mentioned, especially the �daughters � is really nice!!!
It is not really suitable for my class since they are a bit too young (9yrs old) I realize I didn �t mention that. But I really like the song and its message, I �ll keep it in mind for my higher grades for sure!!
Any other suggestions? anyone? |

Hi Marion, there �s the song "Dance with my father", by Celine Dion or Luther Vandross. The song is really beautiful... I confess it makes me cry! lol I really hope it �s useful! :D

Wow some of the songs out today are truly beautiful!
My own father is diagnosed with cancer and the song gave me goose bumps!
Again, I think maybe most of my students are to young to really appreciate this song (even though sadly, a few of them lost their fathers already, one of them only this summer so that would be too �fresh � a hurt)
But it is truly beautiful!! thank you so much for letting me know! |
