even though vs even if

hi everyone,

My students get always confused when using "even if" and "even though". The point could be that the way or examples I use to explain it are not quite clear because I do not either fully understand it. I would be really grateful if you could explain it to me and give me clear examples for my students. Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Even though it is raining now, we will still go to the zoo this afternoon. - Planning now for the future-the action will take place.
