"Les ratures" in English ?

Hello guys!
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
I keep on telling my students "try to use a correction pen and please don t make erasures."Is it correct? I am not sure.
thanks in advance

Yes, that works. You could also say "and please don t erase anything."

I would say: "use a correction pen instead of crossing out your mistakes" the word "ratures" means that the writing is not neat, that the pupil crossed out his mistakes...
have a nice week!
